Description
Mal Waldron (with Eric Dolphy, Ron Carter, Booker Ervin, Charli Persip, Joe Benjamin) THE QUEST New Jazz 8269, recorded 1961. Deep groove Mono silver-on-purple label. Disc plays VG+. Near-continuous gratzl from Prestige pressing and some play wear. Jacket is Ex: matte finish white cover panels have absorbed many years of fingerprints. Corners also slightly roughed, as are the upper 3” of spine.
Here’s the fourteenth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well. Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
