Description
DGG Digital 423 395-1, 2 LP: Mahler: Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection". Barbara Hendricks, Christa Ludwig, The Westminster Choir, New York Philharmonic/Leonard Bernstein.
The condition if this scarce record is the following:
Side 1. Few ticks but otherwise M-
Side 2. In the Second Mouvement there are some noisier parts but the Third Mouvement is M-
Side 3. In the beginning some soft ticks otherwise M-
Side 4. M-
Booklet is M- as is box
I have collected records for 30 years and my late father collected them over 50 years. When I inheritated my father´s collection I realised that something must go as our collections together make some 8000 records and CD´s and there are many duplicates.
I try to give a honest description of records. So there will be no records which are sold as ”Mint” and as you play them you will find them to be much worse. Visually perfect records have only been tried out here and there but the rarer ones have been played all through. In grading I use ”Goldmine grading guidelines”.
Please notice that I use Mint- as my highest grading as these are used records and I myself find it hard to believe that you can call thirty-forty years old records ”Mint” as many do.
