On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Mott The Hoople called "Mott The Hoople" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 'Earliest' 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Pink 'i' Island label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS MOTT THE HOOPLES FIRST LP EVER - AND IS THEIR RAREST BY FAR (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION)!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - AND IS COMPLETELY MISPRESSED WITH DIFFERENT LABELS, DIFFERENT MATRIXES, AND A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WITHDRAWN TRACK!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE ON THIS LP - AND ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL WERE EVER PRESSED!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHY THIS LP IS AMAZINGLY RARE!!!!  BEFORE THIS LP WAS RELEASED - THE TRACK LISTING WAS PLANNED OUT, MIXED AND RECORDED.  IT WAS DECIDED TO INCLUDE THE TRACK 'ROAD TO BIRMINGHAM' AND THE LP HAD A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ORDER TO THE EVENTUALLY RELEASED 1ST PRESSING.  HOWEVER AT THE LAST MOMENT A DECISION WAS TAKEN TO COMPLETELY RE-MIX THE LP, DROP THE TRACK 'ROAD TO BIRMINGHAM' AND REPLACE IT INSTEAD WITH 'BACKSLIDING FEARLESSLY'.  HOWEVER ALTHOUGH THE COVER & LABELS WERE CHANGED IN TIME FOR THE RELEASE DATE (& HAD THE CORRECT TRACK ORDER) - AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL OF RECORDS LEAKED OUT WITH THE INCORRECT MIXES AND WRONG TRACK!!!!  OF COURSE, ONCE THIS WAS REALISED - IT WAS QUICKLY WITHDRAWN AND CORRECTED, WITH BARELY ANY LEFT IN EXISTENCE TODAY!!!!  AND THIS IS ONE OF THOSE AMAZINGLY RARE MISPRESSED 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS THAT INCORRECTLY PLAYS 'ROAD TO BIRMINGHAM' & 5 DIFFERENT MIXES - AND IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND NOW!!!!  AND THIS MAKES THIS LP ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST LPs EVER MADE!!!!  ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL (NO MORE THAN A FEW HUNDRED!) OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY, WERE EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS - AND THE CHANCES OF EVER FINDING ANOTHER ONE AGAIN ARE VIRTUALLY ZERO!!!!

AND OF COURSE - IT IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT TO IDENTIFY THIS IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING CORRECTLY!!!!  FIRSTLY THE LABELS ARE 'FULLY TEXTURED' (LATER ONES ARENT!), AND THIS LP IS PRESSED ON 'DOUBLE THICKNESS' VINYL (LATER ONES ARE MUCH THINNER)!!!!  AND SECONDLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE RECORD HAS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS MISPRESSED 'ILPS+9108+A' & 'ILPS+9108+B' MATRIXES (SEE PICTURE) WITH NO NUMBER ADDED AT THE END OF EACH MATRIX!!!!  LATER PRESSINGS OF COURSE, SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE THESE ULTRA RARE MATRIXES - AND INSTEAD HAVE LATER MATRIXES WITH NUMBERS ADDED - EITHER //2 OR //1!!!!  THIS IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT ONE OF THE RAREST LPs YOU WILL EVER SEE - AND THIS LP IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  THIS WILL SURELY BE ONE OF THE ONLY CHANCES TO EVER OWN THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE (WITH 'ROAD TO BIRMINGHAM' & 5 DIFFERENT MIXES!) - SO DONT MISS OUT!!!! 

BUT NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL (ONLY 2 OR 3 TIMES AT THE VERY MOST!)!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 WITHDRAWN UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'FULLY TEXTURED' PINK 'i' ISLAND LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS A/B MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Island UK 'Earliest' 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is ILPS 9108 on the ORIGINAL 'Earliest' 1st Press 'Textured' Island label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!   The ORIGINAL 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO sticker marks, NO edge wear (apart from some almost INVISIBLE 'touching in' traces to the bottom edges!), only VERY slight spinal wear (NO splits!), NO ringwear, NO rubbing, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO sticker tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corner tips, NO annotations, only 1 TINY indentation, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO writing, NO wear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, NO grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!!  The cover is must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
