The Moody Blues: Mike Pinder, Justin Hayward, Ray Thomas, John Lodge, Graeme Edge.Additional personnel: Pete Jackson (triangle).Where this album's predecessor In Search Of The Lost Chord dipped deeply into Eastern-flavored psychedelia, this album is more of a rock record. Things open up experimentally enough, with a spoken-word vignette over electronic drones, but this leads straight into one of the Moodies' poppiest, most up-tempo songs, "Lovely to see You," which would remain a concert favorite for decades. Even notoriously theatrical flautist/vocalist Ray Thomas keeps his eccentricities in check on his effective ballad "Dear Diary." Keyboardist Mike Pinder takes a surprisingly lascivious vocal turn on the anomalous, leering rocker "So Deep Within You." Justin Hayward provides the lion's share of ear-tickling moments with pretty folk-rock tunes such as "Never Comes the Day" and "Are you Sitting Comfortably," while the most adventurous piece "Have you Heard/The Voyage" extends over three discrete tracks, featuring complex instrumental passages and lush harmonies............

Condition of Vinyl:- Both sides of the disc have very light use only ............... just a couple of very light , faint surface traces evident beneath a light ............ The disc plays through with great sound quality : Graded in at least EXCELLENT condition.

Label Condition:- Bright clean labels , minimal spindle use only : EXCELLENT / Near MINT condition.

Condition of Sleeve:- A really outstanding condition sleeve .............. beautifully bright and clean .......... just a couple of small , light crease traces on rear.......... No edge wear......... lovely crisp spine ....... The inner booklet pages have no wear , very clean : The Sleeve is Easily Graded at EXCELLENT+ condition.

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as 'Stunning!! Rare!! Awsome!!, padded out with grossly long winded descriptions , many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and incorrect to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for the fact that it is misleading........ I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records, with concise and accurate grading descriptions......................

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice........and Segovia!)
