Hi, and welcome to psych_out! auctions!!!
I've collected 50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre - Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between for all my life!!! Obviously, 90% of the LP's I've ever gotten hold of are completely trashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? Reluctantly, I've decided to offer them to all of you serious record collectors out there!!! I'm currently trying to set up a record label so unfortunately personal sacrifices have to be made when it comes to my collection, resulting in GREAT benefits for all you shrewd bidders and serious connosieurs of TRUE solid gold music history out there!!! Make no mistake, I'll try my best to consistently offer some of the VERY BEST records available on ebay, many which have taken me YEARS to find!!!
I aim to put a weekly batch up (time permitting) every Wednesday, all timed to end 10 days later on Saturday night. I'll only ever offer THE BEST, MOST AMAZING, MOST IMPORTANT, VERY RAREST UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDS I've got!!! I won't insult you with later 2nd pressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP, direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered",weak reissued, remixed rubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these session men really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).

I strictly grade all LP's I list, visually and sonically using the UK RRPG standards as customer satisfaction is highly important to me, and I'll always do my very best not to let you down. PHENOMENALLY RARE EARLIEST EVER WITHDRAWN HANGING TAB ROCK CLASSIC FROM ALVIN LEE AND HIS WILD BAND!!! RIDICULOUSLY HARD TO FIND, ESPECIALLY LIKE THIS!!! RARELY PLAYED WITH PHENOMENAL SOUND AND AN ASTONISHING 100% INTACT SLEEVE WITH WITHDRAWN HANGING TAB POSTER FLAP!!! EVEN THE PUNCH HOLE IS UNBROKEN!!! THE ONLY EXAMPLE I’VE EVER SEEN LIKE THIS!!! ASTONISHINGLY UNAGED!!!

IMPOSSIBLY RARE - THIS WAS ONLY INCLUDED ON EARLIEST EVER TRUE DAY OF RELEASE 1ST PRESSES AND WAS AN EXTRA TAB INCLUDED AT ONE END OF THE GATEFOLD WITH THE IDEA OF HANGING THE COVER ON THE WALL AS A POSTER!!! THE WHOLE ARTWORK ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE GATEFOLD WAS DESIGNED AND PRINTED VERTICALLY FOR THIS PURPOSE, AND THE FLAP WAS ADDED TO ONE END WITH A TINY FACTORY MADE STAMPED PUNCH HOLE IN IT SO IT COULD BE HUNG LIKE A CALENDAR OR ON THE WALL AS A MASSIVE POSTER!!!! HOWEVER THIS WAS BADLY THOUGH OUT AS THE COVER WAS FAR TOO HEAVY FOR THE FLAP TO HANDLE, AND THIS IS WHY IT WAS REMOVED STRAIGHT AFTER RELEASE WITH A STANDARD GATEFOLD WITH NO FLAP!!!

THIS IS ALSO WHY 99% OF COPIES TODAY HAVE THE FLAP ON THE END COMPLETELY DESTROYED, BUT NOT THE CASE HERE - CLEARLY NEVER EVER BEEN HUNG WITH EVEN THE HANGING TAB PUNCH HOLE NOT EVEN BROKEN IN FOR ONCE!!! THE ONLY EXAMPLE I’VE EVER SEEN LIKE THIS!!! UNBELIEVABLY UNAGED!! About : Ultra Rare Original 1970 UK 1st Press!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything (LP's were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! AN absolute classic LP from this incredible band!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Don't miss out on this MEGA RARE LP!!! Classic UK 1st Press Threshold labels!!! Both sides are FANTASTIC with NO real signs of age, NO writing, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this hasn't had much play over the years at all!!! AWESOME for a 49 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Very Good+++!!!

Spectacular Original 1970 UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks INCREDIBLE with NO nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever!!! The only blemishes off perfection are just one or two BARELY VISIBLE totally non-sounding cosmetic scuffs, a few of the lightest, wispy sleeve traces/cleaning lines (only visible in strong angled light) and only one or two ULTRA light non sounding hairlines from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes affect play AT ALL!!! PHENOMENAL for a record of this age and rarity!!! You'll be amazed by how generally clean and unworn it is!!! Must grade overall at least as Very Good+++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Record : Audio -

Thankfully, it plays AMAZINGLY with fantastic stereo separation and clarity!!! It really sounds incredible with NO hisses, hops, distortion, skips OR sticks!!! Only like pretty much ALL records has the very RAREST quiet isolated tick here and there, and possibly just the MEREST TOUCH of low level static in the rarest few and far between places such as on the run in grooves and between some tracks, but that's truly about it!!! The vast, vast, majority of the music is TRULY crystal clear - It really does play with a CD-like near 100% black silence, but with that bass, depth, clarity and warmth you can only get from original UK 1st Press vinyl!!! EVEN the vast majority of the quiet sections!!! Absolutely ESSENTIAL!!! ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audibly at least as Excellent++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Sleeve :

Original 1970 UK 1st press unlaminated gatefold earliest G&L “patents pending” 100% intact withdrawn hanging tab sleeve complete with original unsplit inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks FANTASTIC, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO tears, NO dulling or discolouration (PHENOMENAL for this age-prone sleeve!!!), NO writing, NO graffiti, NO splits, NO bad marks AT ALL, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years!!! This sleeve only has a tiny amount of ULTRA light signs of minor ageing such as the rarest touch of ultra mild rubbing to very rare parts of the seams from where it has sat on the shelf over the years (barely any) and possibly just one or two incredibly light tiny little edge creases (virtually nothing - NO half moons whatsoever), a slight touch of denting to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by listing the most minor negatives I can possibly find, but this is an OUTSTANDING sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as astonishingly close to new as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! EASILY the best example I've EVER seen (most are usually savaged with the fragile hinges and tabs totally destroyed - NOT the case here!!!)!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall at least as Excellent+!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Summary : A MAGNIFICENT earliest ever true day of release WITHDRAWN hanging tab example of this INCREDIBLY RARE classic original 1970 Deram Stereo UK 1st Press LP!!! Hard to find in ANY condition, but SERIOUSLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS TRULY ASTONISHING AS THIS!!! YOU MAY NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60's/70's music history!!! Bid now!!!

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
