Very Rare The Misfits Original PLAN 9 45 7” Vinyl Record with rare Light Orange Cover
MISFITS HALLOWEEN 45 PLAN 9 PL-1017 ORIGINAL SAMHAIN 7” from 1981 Light Orange Cover Variation
This is the Original Misfits Halloween Single with a Light Orange Cover which I think is rarer if memory serves me than the Darker Orange Cover.
The record is in Excellent Condition there are no major issues on the record or sleeve. There are no scratches just very few small very minor surface marks but not much of them. It is in real nice shape for being almost 40 years old. It has no warps no writing or pen marks on the sleeve or record labels. It has a tiny smudge that may be removable on label but it isn’t very obvious and is not uncommon to see much more than this... I just noticed it while taking pictures but it may be removable, I honestly did not even try to remove it. I think it will make a great addition to any collection and is better than a collection filler. It can be a permanent collection piece definitely! The record played perfectly the one time I played it when I acquired it in the very early 2000’s; I think about 2001-2002 is when I got this one, and I have kept it in climate controlled storage for over 15 years! I will pay for the insurance if you purchase it and it will be fully insured up to the selling price!

There were not many of this record pressed and I have heard 5000 although I have heard some people question whether it was fewer than 5000 like possibly 2000-3000 although that is just talk amongst some collectors and I have no evidence to say it was less than 5000 made. No insert is present and few have an original fold out insert especially if you account for the fact that some people reprinted and sold unofficial inserts in the last handful of years unfortunately.
