*** to save on authenticity confusion, I sign the back of every repro item. I have been studying Misfits/ Samhain/ Danzig memorabilia, long enough, that I have become somewhat an authorities on what is an original Misfits or Samhain item, and what is not! Fiends ask for my advice in authenticating Misfits/ Samhain/ Danzig items, all the time. it has been a big problem in the past, not knowing what an original item may look like or qualities it may have. but, with the help of other SUPER-collectors + MisfitsCentral & 138.com, it has become much easier to tell when something is 'real' or 'fake'. please feel free to ask around and it is open for discussion with me, as well. so, I am now coming from a different side of the collecting world, in this down economy, I will offer nice Misfits replicas that are still very rare and done in limited numbers. I have much more to offer, and dont want to anger the true and old-school collectors, out there (and, I know most of you). but the truth is, the money is just not there today, for high-dollar rarities. therefore, I am glad to keep most of my original, expensive Misfits/ Samhain/ Danzig stuff and just offer some nice replicas to Die-Hard collectors in the market for some nicer/ cheaper, but still very nice items. keep a watch out for more to come... ***
