"MILLICENT" - - MILLICENT MARTIN - - COLUMBIA 33SX1145 - - REAL NICE COPY OF THIS ABSOLUTELY MEGA RARE 1959 UK ONLY ISSUE LP, FROM THE WONDERFULLY TALENTED MILLIE MARTIN !!! - - The beatiful portrait flipback laminated jacket grades a strong EX, especially considering it is now 51 years old, with just slight lam lift at opening, slightly age discoloration to the back, (although all sleeve notes and pics are crisp and clear), and a very small touch up on one corner - - The green and gold labelled disc is gleaming and plays superbly, a definite EX+ !!! - - The superb smoky voiced Miss Martin, treats us here with some super sultry vocals, with a great jazz feel plus her impeccable timing and perfect pitch !!! - - Great backing from Tony Osborne and his men, give us a programme here that is sheer delight !!! - - 12 trax offered that include:- "When your lover has gone", "When the world was young", a beautiful slow version of, "In the blue of evening", "You'd be so nice to come home to", plus 8 more gems !!! - - You'll look hard and long to even find a copy of this LP, and even harder to find one as well preserved as this ! - - Highly in demand, I have started it as usual with NO reserve, so thanks for your interest and good luck !!! - - £19.99
