MILES DAVIS-'ROUND ABOUT MIDNIGHT 1957 COLUMBIA RECORDS 6-EYE LABEL CL 949 MONO LP IN A SOLID VG+-EXC. VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! The hard bop masterpiece from one of the genre's greatest in this auction. Miles Davis on trumpet, John Coltrane on the tenor sax & Paul Chambers on bass, magic on the vinyl, 6 songs of bebop genius including the Thelonius Monk song 'Round Midnight, All Of You & Dear Old Stockholm all appear on this must own recording. All fans of the man or the genius of his quintet will love having this one to spin on their turntable. A jazz classic!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just a light scuff on Bye Bye Blackbird that when played(twice) did not skip or have a hitch in play. I thought for sure that it would but did not at all. The rest of the album is in excellent shape and plays well throughout. The cover has mild rubs on the corners and the original inner sleeve has 3 splits yet still holds the record. A fantastic buy!!
