Description

RECORD COLLECTORS!
See HOW WE GRADE LP's; learn "record jargon" (a vocabulary of sorts); so what's a HOT STAMPER anyway?: Rainy Day Records (established 1981).

This is Blue Note Records (BLP 5040), VOL. 3, by Miles Davis, an audiophile pressing taken from recently discovered source materials deep in the Blue Note vault and transferred onto 180+ grams of high-density virgin vinyl by our old buddy Bernie Grundman using the analog, all-tube cutting system for which Classic has become famous. This piece is still SEALED from Classic. It is NEW, MINT; it has never been opened.

Recorded at Rudy Van Gelder's studio on March 6, 1954, this was Miles' third session for Blue Note.

Personnel & Instrumentation:
Miles Davis -- trumpet
Horace Silver -- piano
Percy Heath -- bass
Art Blakey -- drums

The Tunes:
Take Off
Lazy Susan
The Leap
Well, You Needn't
Weirdo
It Never Entered My Mind

Note: This is a FIRST Classic pressing from the 1990's.
