Offered for your consideration is this fairly rare copy of '"Round About Midnight" by The Miles Davis Quintet on Columbia Records. This is an original CL 949 360 Hemispheric Sound deep groove recording and has the 6 eye label. I beleive it's a first pressing, since the deadwax trailer ends in 1A. The group consisted of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers and "Philly Joe" Jones.

SIDE 2: Bye Bye Blackbird; Tadd's Delight; Dear Old Stockholm
The record is visually graded a strong VG+ showing only a hint of a very light scate on side 2. The label is clean and shows virtually no spindle damage. The inner sleeve is proper and tight. The cover shows no real ring wear, but has a couple of diagonal corner bends as well as a 5 inch top seam split and initials penned in the upper left back corner. The color and printing are remarkably clear. Overall, a really nice example. I tend to grade conservatively. You won't be disappointed.
So, if this rather scarce first pressing will fill in a gap in that Miles collection of yours, why not toss in a bid, because it's being offered at a fair open and NO RESERVE!!
