TITLE : MICROWAVE - the world is still revolving LP
LABEL / CAT # : WOLSEY / WR001
COUNTRY / YEAR OF RELEASE : UK / 198?
DESCRIPTION : Very hard to find UK-only private press album made by an Ipswich 'special school' in the early-80s??
This would have had zero distribution and only been pressed in the low hundreds to be sold/given to the pupils and their families
The instruments (including synth & funky bass!) are played by (and at least half songs written by) the pupils and their teachers!! It's not exactly on the scale of the infamous Langley School Project album...but, it does have its moments and the original songs are refreshingly poppy and fun, with a distinct disco vibe to a few of the songs (especially 'I think i'm in love' ) and a great moody reggae-pop/Police-ish style to 'you're the one for me'! (with female vocals) + a couple of beautifully enigmatic mellow songs that only really appear of these kinds of albums!
Would appeal to private press devotees, open minded cosmic/disco DJs & fans of obscure bands!! ....Original UK PRESSING.

CONDITION : Vinyl: EXCELLENT+ (very, very light superficial surface marks only. looks virtually unplayed!)
In Picture sleeve: VG+ (small amount creasing, light marks and minor foxing to cover)
