Description

ORIGINAL 1987 FIRST PRESSING from the Carrollton Plant. This is a "promo" pressing, which were typically among the first few hundred pressings made (which is why they are highly sought by collectors) and usually sent to promoters, industry executives, and radio stations. It looks like this was received on 9/1/1987 by a radio station (as indicated by cataloging sticker on label).

Featuring the hits Bad, The Way You Make Me Feel, Dirty Diana, I Just Can't Stop Loving You, Man in the Mirror and Smooth Criminal.
Fully play-tested: The vinyl is in strong VG+ condition with some minor marks. These result in some light background crackles between some tracks, but sounds great during the music.
The gatefold album jacket is in strong VG+ condition with minor shelf-wear.
The inner sleeve is in VG+ condition with a side seam-split.
The vinyl has been ultrasonically cleaned, handled with audiophile gloves (not hands), and stored and ships in an audiophile-quality anti-static inner sleeve. I also always store and ship albums in a protective 3 mil. plastic outer sleeve to keep these precious albums in excellent condition. This costs me a bit more, but it's worth it to ensure a high-quality record stays as pristine as possible.
Rest assured that you are buying this from a fellow fan who loves this album and has fully listened to it and fairly graded. I want to respect your purchase and make sure this record is appreciated by the next owner. Check out my listings for hundreds of other albums from the 1980s and early 90s, all in beautiful condition. I always combine shipping for only $1 extra per additional record. Please just add them to your cart and checkout all at once.
I always properly pack and ship records quickly (usually within 1 business day). I always check the competition before pricing these albums (as a buyer would) so I will add a note: please be wary of any sellers who don't provide actual pictures or play-grade the record itself. They shouldn't be considered reputable, as they haven't earned your trust or your hard-earned money.
