SOUND SAMPLES  AUTO STARTED WHEN YOU OPENED THE PAGE, For those who heard the first sound sample, listen again, some light dust has been removed, and it is much cleaner. I have left the LP grading at  NM Minus, cover NM.  First sound sample had some soft static especially side 2, it turned out to be dust or pressing residues, much better only very faint pips in the quiet bits, and getting quieter each time as I played  opening few minutes run ins three times before re sampling the opening run ins as you can hear NOW

and have a READ . (the first 30 seconds is very quiet, TURN ... the... volume....UP)

Sound sample is of opening few minutes of both sides where most likely needle drop damage would occur, side 2 starts at 3 mins 52 secs.  Total sound sample 8 mins 09 secs.

Ltd. Edition No. 3197 of less than  (usually 5000) pressed on JVC virgin vinyl. Early  Anadisq 200gm Ltd edition. Anadisqs (sometimes referred to as Anadisc) were issued from the American Audiophile pioneers Mobile Fidelity. from 1994 as this one was through to 1996.

Atom Heart Mother Very rarely seen in LP format, mostly seen as later MFSL  gold CD issues .

This pressing of Atom Heart Mother is highly sought after by both Audiophiles and Pink Floyd fans

As album sales waned in the 80's due to CD sales, the limited series pressings were introduced. The first ones included Dream of the blue turtles, Journey Escape, Yellow Brick Road, Crown of Creation and Pink Floyd Meddle LP(see my other auction for that one). Having proved that as a successful marketing exercise, I suspect the more commonly known Anadisq series was released progressively through the 90's with more than just a self adhesive sticker to denote the limited serial number as those first ones had (see photo 4) Only about 65 different albums were released in this anadisq series before bankruptcy and closure in 1999. Still regarded as one of the most collectible series issued in the audiophile realm. This 1994 release LP is one of the more expensive for collectors that reached the general market from that anadisq series.  but for the uninitiated MFSL buyers on my site, this is one worth having.

Condition (See Photo's) NM minus LP / NM cover

No obvious damage to gatefold covers anywhere,  NO edge wear damage.

LP is in NM minus condition, I aquired it in 2006, it has one spindle trail on each sides label, and a coiuple of light scuffs visible in bright sunlight.  I played it for the first time to set up the sound sample you are listrening to, it has some light crackles in the intro, I will attempt a light clean and re sample in the next day or so, If I get it cleaner and update the sound file after the listing is bid on, the track sample timing will be different, that's how you will know if it is cleaner than my grading of NM MINUS.

But even a brand new MFSL used to come with the warning that a few crackles were normal as they did not dehorn their mother stampers, and risk losing some of the dynamics, so original brochures talked about playing the record a few times to polish off the clicks installed at manufacture.

Being played, I can see nothing other than a few paper scuffs only visible in sunlight    Having test played the run in on both sides,  Just a few spider line scuffs,  can only be seen in sunlight strength light. In normal room lighting, appears like new with no damage.
