The Facts:

The Record: First Issue Heavy 1963 vinyl. Deep groove. Superb Audio throughout. Deep, rich mono.
Side one displays a few ultra faint surface marks detected when held to strict light. Side one grades EXCELLENT. The black and gold label on side one has a faint blemish , possibly manufacturing? or maybe a ‘factory sample’ label has been carefully removed when issued ? ( this is more likey as it has the tell tale arrow ends like the sample stickers, also this original copy was bought on the day of issue at NEMS Whitechapel Liverpool ) Side two has a few light hairlines which do not affect play. Side two grades VG+ . Very clean label with NO spindle trails.
Both sides playback with barely any surface crackle even between the tracks . This is a very well cared for copy which has had minimal play and retains its full vinyl sheen with a “just pressed look” both sides.
The Sleeve:
First Issue Ernest J.Day Laminated front flap back sleeve. Flat, heavy duty sleeve with tight laminate and crisp spine as shown. Superb clean condition throughout . Clean rear sleeve for once. Small paper flap loss top right corner otherwise amazing condition for the age. As pictured , the Angus McBean phot credit is so far right and low that it’s barely visible. One centimetre bottom right corner tear has a tiny amount of peel. Crisp and clean opening edge , again indicating very minimal handling of this special first pressing.
