MC5 ultra rare ORIG A-SQUARE 45 w/pic sleeve NM GARAGE Click Images to Enlarge
Here is a guaranteed authentic copy of the first ever record by the MC5, "Looking At You/Borderline" on the A-Square label. This predates their being signed to Elektra (and in fact is from the collection of an Elektra executive who worked there at the time.) The thick paper glossy sleeve with the die cut thumb tab (confirming it as a first pressing) and the disc are both NM to NM-; simply fantastic for a record so rarely seen. The sleeve has a 1/4" area beginning to split in the bottom center, but otherwise is super as you can see from the photo. The last time I had a copy of this was in 1973 !
