MC5 "Kick Out The Jams" Elektra (EKS-74042) 

Cover: VG+ (Light Ring Wear, Edge & Corner Wear- most notably upper left corner, "Promotion Copy" Sticker) All seams intact- no splits.

Record: VG+ (some light hairline scratches, a few scuffs)

Play graded VG+ upon listening to record all the way through. Light clicks / pops, some surface noise audible (but not over-powering) in quiet passages, notably on Side Two in parts of "I Want You" and "Starship".

Vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI Record Cleaning Machine and has excellent gloss.

Promo of this record is censored for airplay, i.e: "Brothers & Sisters" version. Deadwax has "RADIO VERSION X".

Gatefold has full uncensored liner notes.

Labels are very clean.

Elektra company sleeve is crisp and clean with all seams intact.

All records are Original / Vintage U.S. Pressings unless otherwise noted.

RECORD GRADING:

All records strictly graded.  Condition is guaranteed.

M (Mint) Still Sealed. Unplayed.

M- (Mint Minus) Disc appears to be virtually flawless, and should play as such.

VG++ Denotes tiny VISUAL flaw or paper scuff(s) that is cosmetic, and cannot be heard

VG+ Disc has slight to average wear, a few more scuffs / visual abrasions, possibly a few light scratches. Obviously used, but certainly not abused. A nice record. Background noise, if present, should be minimal and generally audible in quiet passages or between tracks.

VG Disc has significant wear, scuffs / marks and / or fine scratches, some of which may be "feel-able", but no deep gouges. May play with some crackle or minimal 'ticks' (meaning the tick shouldn't be louder than the music). Surface noise (if present) may be heard in quieter passages. Any noise should not be jarring or terribly distracting. Strong VG should be just shy of VG+ and play well.

VG- Disc has many scuffs and scratches, some of which may "pop" (meaning the scratch is loud or louder than the music). Significant surface noise usually present.

G "Good" Disc has lots of wear, and serious visual abrasions. It should play through without skipping (unless otherwise noted). Condition is generally rough, but is good enough to serve as a "filler" copy until something better comes along. Only the rarest of records will be listed in this condition.

Whenever a record plays better than the visual grade, it is noted via both grades (Looks VG, plays VG++) If two grades are noted (VG/VG-) that means the "A" side grades VG, while the "B" side grades VG-

All other defects, such as cut-out holes (CO), stickers and/or writing on the label (SOL / WOL) and warping (wrp) are noted as listed here.

"NAP" denotes that a described defect (warp, press bump, etc.) does 'not affect play'.
