HAS ONLY SOME PAPER SLEEVE'S HAIRLINES, THE RECORD STILL KEEPS NICE GLOSS AND SHINE, CLEAR SOUNDS, WITHOUT ANY SCRATCH OR ANY BACKGROUND OR SURFACE WEAR ANNOYING NOISE, EXCEPT MAYBE SOME SLIGHT CLICKS HERE AND THERE OR BETWEEN SOME TRACKS, SOUND IS SOLID, CLEAN AND LOUD WITHOUT ANY OF THE SLIGHTEST DISTRACTED NOISE OR ANNOYING SCRATCH!!!
She Hangs Brightly was the first album by the dream pop band Mazzy Star, released in 1990.
This album was, perhaps, more guitar-centric than later efforts. However, the characteristic echo-effect on the vocals, the limited instrumentation, and the stripped down sound, which would become their trademark, was already present on this album. The track "Be My Angel" appears to be the musical inspiration for "Fade Into You", and the rock roots of the band are evident on "Blue Flower"."Halah" creates the band's trademark effect with haunting guitaring and lyrics, and Hope Sandoval's sublime vocals. It was released as a single, and the psychedelic effect can be heard on the song, "Free". "Ghost Highway" is another psychedelic rock track, with a fast rhythm. While not a commercial success, this album did establish Mazzy Star as a unique band with a unique sound.
