Description
This is from the first pressing, a 2XLP with both records on translucent orange vinyl.
I think there were only around a couple hundred of these pressed, and a couple hundred opaque orange copies.
If you are reading this, you know that this is very OOP and difficult to come by.
I am selling because I have another copy of this album on vinyl and I have some records that I want to purchase.
CONDITION notes: It is still in shrink-wrap (opened), but it does have some corner bending and the open edge has some wear (as you can see in the pictures). That edge wear is the only thing keeping this sleeve from being considered excellent. The records have only been taken out of the sleeve a couple times in the past decade.
These weren't the most sturdy sleeves in the first place, made worse that this is a double LP. Jade Tree put out a much sturdier sleeve on Jets to Brazil's next album (also a 2XLP), but not on this one..... it is actually a pain taking the records in and out of the sleeve, which I have tried to avoid doing as much as possible.
I've probably only played this record a few times. I owned the CD of this album from when it first came out as well, so I never really listened to the vinyl much. I am the original and sole owner of this record.
Keep in mind that I cannot attest to the sound quality of the vinyl at this time, as my record player needs some part replacements and is in storage until I move (which is soon). But there is no reason why this shouldn't sound fine, it has been stored inside my house, inside of an old military trunk. So, I'm not trying to hide anything, but just want to be upfront that I cannot listen to it in advance of selling it. I don't see any scratches on the vinyl.
Shipping: Give me three business days from receipt of payment to ship out, although I will likely ship it out much quicker. I will pack this very well in a sturdy mailer with added cardboard reinforcement. Price of shipping includes handling and will be media mail, unless buyer chooses to upgrade.
