Gianni Mazza - La Città n° 1 – LP (Fly Record – AS 51) 1971

Very rare 1971 original library for the high collectable FLY records, in beautiful conditions! NM vinyl (looks as never played) and EX sleeve (it's perfect but has some normal wear from the age on the back sleeve). Never been on the market, this was a "not for sale" release, and it's almost impossible to find these days...
The side one features sophisticated "lounge" atmospheres - rather slow - which mainly underline distressing and gloomy themes. Among the others : " WEEK END " an exciting fast/slow tune plenty of refined sonorities and well supported by organ, bass and electric guitar. The side two features fast and rhythmical tunes on an overall "lounge" tapestry. Among the others : " CONTESTAZIONE " plenty of syncopated progressive rock sonorities, " LA STAZIONE ", psychedelic beat and progressive rock sound underlined by an exciting organ and strong drumming.

The time has come for me to sell a part of my collection: I bought records in the last 35 years and some of them are still sealed or never played.

I worked in the music-biz for many years so a lot of my records are promo. 99% mint!
