On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by May Blitz called 'The 2nd Of May' and is a UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS A VERY RARE 1971 ORIGINAL VERTIGO 1ST PRESSING!!!! IT HAS THE 1ST PRESS 'LARGE' SPIRAL LABEL, A GATEFOLD COVER, AND ITS ORIGINAL SPIRAL INNER SLEEVE!!!! IT IS ALSO IN STUNNING CONDITION SO DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is an ORIGINAL 'Spiral' Vertigo UK 1st pressing from 1971 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 6360 037 on the ORIGINAL 'Spiral' Vertigo label (see picture) and is a UK stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality May Blitz at their best!!!! Any fan of May Blitz, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 of the LIGHTEST scufflines (only visible under light) and only a few light paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Excellent(Minus)!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 'spiral' inner sleeve!!!! The Gatefold Cover is in STUNNING condition for its age!!!! Most of these covers are found in terrible condition due to the light colour of the cover.  But this one is not - it is the cleanest copy of this LP I have seen for a long time!!!! It has barely ANY edge wear (white on white - so doesnt show), only slight spinal wear (most of the words are visible), NO ringwear, only slight corner wear, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The inside is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO Grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!! The only other thing to mention is some slight yellowing to the spine though it is important to note that the yellowing is barely noticeable when the cover is shut!!!! The cover must grade Very Good if not better (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) with only the yellowing to the spine stopping a higher grading. A STUNNING GRADE FOR A VERY RARE RECORD!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1971 1ST PRESSING OF "THE 2ND OF MAY" BY MAY BLITZ, IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!!
