Always a very hard to find number in the Tamla Motown "SS" series, here's a very decent UK original 1964 demo copy of this classic tune from MARTHA & THE VANDELLAS with "IN MY LONELY ROOM" on the UK STATESIDE imprint SS 305 and backed with "A TEAR FOR THE GIRL".
This copy remains in a strong very good plus condition but playing closer to excellent with noticeable surface sleeve rubs and hairline scratches not affecting play. It plays perfectly throughout with great audible quality and with light crackle on the run-in and run-out groove and initial 20 seconds of the 'B' side but definitely no deep scratches or clicks. This copy has the 4-prong centre intact and the labels are clean on the 'A' side and with a small area of damage on the 'B' side within the push-out centre together with the odd minor blemish and with moderate spindle wear. Paired with an original company sleeve and still a very decent copy for the DJ or collector (see picture scans). The very reasonable starting price is reflective of the condition described.
