ORIGINAL UK issue on London, from 1960...not a reissue…not a new repressing…not a foreign issue. From a well cared for record collection.
Record is unmarked with hardly any sign of play. The sleeve is very good. No rips,splits or writing. Light handling to the back, nothing serious. With original printed inner sleeve. Good luck finding another this good.
Coltrane has probably been the most influential saxophonist in any musical genre. His challenging solos are now transcribed as exercises for students, while players all over the world still try to mimic his characteristically intense and soulful sound more than 50 years after his death. The track ‘Giant Steps’, has been a model for aspiring sax players ever since, but it's far more than a technical exercise of course……
