Description
Artist: MARTHA BASS
Title: “Rescue Me”
Label: CHECKER ~ LPS-10048. Original stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl. Label is blue with black text.
Year: 1968.
Condition:
DISC: VG++ with full original gloss. Has been played a small number of times and handled with care. There are several light marks that produce very soft tics in a couple places, but no loud clicks or distractions. Fidelity is superb. Labels are clean. A very nice playing copy.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG+ to VG++ with a few minor flaws, but still quite presentable. There are a few traces of ring wear on the front panel (not laminated) and shelf wear on reverse and seams. No writing, stickers, or splits. Top right corner is clipped (small clip) to indicate the album was originally sold as a deletion/cut-out. Overall a nice looking jacket to accompany the great sounding disc.
NOTE: A tough one to find. As you may be aware, Martha’s daughter is Fontella Bass.
