Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature some of my progressive records and rare pop records from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare first UK / German pressing of Madonna – The First Album on Sire Records, cat no. WX22 / 92-3867-1 complete with the red sticker on front AND the limited edition full colour poster and original inner sleeve with Madonna photo on one side and lyrics to the songs on the other.
Songs featured are: "Lucky Star", "Borderline", "Burning Up", "I Know It", "Holiday", "Think Of Me", "Physical Attraction", "Everybody".
The record is in EX+ condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines from removing the record from the inner sleeve only. The labels are in EX condition as well; with only very few spindle marks and a tiny sticker on side 1.
The sleeve is in EX minus condition, there are a couple tiny bald spots along the spine and seams. There is also a tiny crease in the bottom left hand corner on the back and there is a very small sticker in the upper right hand corner on the back. Further there is a sort of “S” drawn on the sticker with a marker. This could be removed, but I’ll leave that to the next owner.
The inner sleeve with the song lyrics is also in EX condition.
The most important is the BIG poster. This one is in EX condition.
This is an extremely rare copy of the Madonna’s debut album, complete with the red sticker on the front and big poster. Do not underestimate the rarity if this item. A complete copy of this album is not offered many times on Ebay and it’s getting very hard to find these days. This is your chance to complete your Madonna record collection. Happy Bidding!

Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 16.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.
Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
