Rare field recordings made on the Mission Clerisse in 1939, which went to several areas of Madagascar to make field recordings. In 1946, the Musée made available set of 30 discs of these recordings available - I've heard that the pressing number was FIFTY copies. This is one of those - made in the northwest, in the village of Ambilobe.
Both sides really enjoyable call-and-response choir with rhythm and harmonies - definitely above average.
Condition: E- (light marks)
