Little Willie John Fever 1958 King Records LP RARE Original Nurse Cover R&B Rock.



Up for sale is an Original 1958 LP of Little Willie John’s “Fever”, with the original Nurse cover that was replaced on the 1961 reissue. Here are the details:


Record: G


The record is covered in light scratches (though there are a few deeper ones). There is a slight edge warp, but it does not effect play (please see photos, as I tried to show everything). Overall, this record plays great, with light surface noise (with a few spots with louder, but not overpowering, pops). Plays much better than most King LPs this age.


Unfortunately, while it overall plays without skips, there is one skip on the song “Fever”.


Cover Grading: F


Like most King LP covers of this age, the seams have split and there is tape on the top seam and spine. The front cover has some water damage, ring wear, and some small tears to the artwork, but it still looks fine overall. The rear cover has some staining, including some mystery blue ink. Please look at the pictures.


Definitely not mint, but still a good copy of a rare classic!
