Here's a record that needs no introduction or sales bullshit. So you won't see drivel like 'floor filler' etc. Do you really need me to tell you that this is a 'floor filler? Thought not... I will simply tell it like it is...

It's the King and Queen of Rock 'n' Roll Little Richard with the 1967 Columbia 45 GET DOWN WITH IT / ROSE MARY.

The A-Side has some light scuff marks but the playing surface still has a nice 'grain' to it. The label is excellent too - see photos (taken without flash, for a naturalistic depiction; and with flash, for its unforgiving qualities. There's nothing to hide.).

The B-Side has more extensive scuff marks. It looks like whoever owned it originally preferred this side! The label has a small bit of wear (or possibly sticker residue) at the top - see the photos. I doubt anyone is looking at this thinking "At last! Thank God! It's Rose Mary by Little Richard". But if you are, that's OK with me...because Richard is my all-time rock 'n' roll hero. And I shit you not. There is little by this genius that I do not have.

And finally...I've played GDWI and it plays fine, with just the usual crackle on the run-in and run-out that you can reasonably expect from vinyl of this age. Anyway, the power of Richard's vocals overwhelm any crackle that may be present during playback.
