Description

  • THE KINKS released their 8th studio album "Lola Versus Powerman and The Moneygoround" in November 1970 on Reprise Records.  The long title is often abbreviated to "Lola Versus Powerman" or just "Lola."  It contains the huge hit singles "Lola" and "Apeman."  The cover is solid with just normal shelf wear and the disc Test Plays cleanly. 

  • This is a very rare First Pressing copy of (RS 6423) as noted by the blue ink writing on the cover and the disc notation that it was manufactured by Bethevin Productions.  Later versions were credited to ABKCO.  It was mastered at Artisan Sound Recorders in Hollywood and this copy was pressed by Bethevan Productions. The Side One dead wax is etched RS-6423-B 31128-1C and stamped with the Artisan Sound logo.

  • This album has been archived in climate-controlled storage for 53 years.  It will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve and a 3 mil. Archival Quality Outer Sleeve and will ship securely in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture.
