Lightnin' Hopkins, "Lightnin' Hopkins Strums The Blues" Original 1958 Score LP 4022  Mono. 
Vinyl: Excellent (VG++).  Clean record with bright gloss and very few visible marks.  Clean bright labels with no marks.  Plays very well with very good sound quality for one of these old Score LP's. 
Cover: Very Good (VG).  This is one of those situations that's very hard to evaluate.  The original owner decided to redo the front cover and  covered the original photo of a guitar player with a blue veneer covering (more than likely to emphasize the blues music contained within the record) and tastefully painted Lightnin' Hopkins name in bright white letters. The back cover is still the original.  The top seam is taped on both sides, but is not very noticeable on the front because of its matching blue color.
   This is one of Lightnin' Hopkins rarest LP's and it is difficult to find a nicer vinyl copy than this one.  If you don't mind the different front cover, you will be very pleased with this record.
