LETS WORK A WHILE by LIGHTNIN HOPKINS on BLUE HORIZON

Condition: Cover is VG+, Vinyl is VG++

The LP is in VG++ condition with only a few hairline/surface marks, the vinyl plays very well with some minor background noise in quiet parts. This album is the Mono UK issue of 'King of the Blues' issued on the Pickwick label in the USA, and presents an odd collection of tracks some of which sound like they were recorded back in the early 50's when he was recording his greatest work.

The Cover shows very well despite having been taped along opening edge, the tape has long since dried out and peeled away leaving only residue mark, There are a couple of light creases and minor ringwear to the front, which is pretty common in this series, the reverse is very clean with minimal wear. The spine is worn whilst the labels are pretty clean, see pics.

On the Blue Horizon label, this album is very rare and a great addition to any blues collection.
