Description

"LESTER YOUNG" LP - Original 1955 Mono Deep Groove pressing on Norgran Records, catalog # MG N-1022.
Features beautiful David Stone Martin illustration on front cover.

The personnel: Lester Young/tenor sax; Jessie Drakes/trumpet;
Gildo Mahones/piano; John Ore/bass Connie Kay/drums.

The songs are: Somebody Loves Me; Come Rain or Come Shine; Rose Room;
Another Mambo; It Don't Mean a Thing If You Ain't Got That Swing; Kiss Me Again;
I'm in the Mood for Love; Big Top Blues.

The vinyl is in ultra glossy M- condition with very clean labels, no marking around the hole.
Few surface marks, but really clean for its age. The cardboard cover is split along bottom edge
and showing sign of its age. Small amount of minor age spotting on back side.

Has sold for as much as $860 on ebay !


We recently acquired a batch of 1950-60's Jazz albums, they have been in
someones cellar for a number of years. Generally they are in OK ++
condition with some surface pops and scratches. They haven't been
professionally cleaned and the covers are dirty/scuffed/moldy smelling but
they are the real thing and would be an important addition to any
collection. Front jacket and 2 sides of each disc are illustrated for your
review.

PLEASE there are NO returns and they are bought as seen and unheard.
