Teresa Yuko Doane, Touche Records and Friends Present an Evening of Les Oublies de Jazz Ensemble, Touche Records (Private Press), 1981. Obscure yet great Post Bop Jazz ensemble from the San Francisco Bay Area circa 1970s performing original compositions in a live setting. Liner notes offer a date of 1970 and state that all tunes were previously recorded although I and others can find no reference to an earlier recording. Another recording by this band was released in 1973 and did not include these compositions. The album is professionally recorded and sounds terrific. Band members include; William 'Smiley' Winters Sr., Esq on drums, Al Tanner on drums, George Alexander on trumpet and flute, Roy Henderson on tenor saxophone and Edgar Williams on Bass. Vinyl is VG+, shiny w/a few light marks that do not affect play. Labels are clean, look great with a radio station call letters WMPG written in black marker on black label side B. Gatefold jacket is VG+, solid, intact, no splits or tears w/light wear on spine, some light markings bottom front and top left front, light ring wear. WMPG 90.9 104.1 is written in black pen on the black jacket front and is barely noticeable. Seriously rare record. Fine copy!

Our grading system is essentially the same as in Goldmine with one exception. We use EX (in lieu of VG++) for vinyl that is between VG+ and just this side of Mint-.
Spirit of Sound ships, in good faith, via USPS. To insure customer satisfaction, we will include delivery confirmation (with tracking number) on all domestic orders, thus the modest shipping/handling increase.
