AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!!
THIS IS A 1977 REISSUE WITH BOTH OF THE VERY RARE HYPE STICKERS! THIS IS NOT A RECORD CLUB COPY!THIS IS A REALLY NICE COPY! THE COVER, LP, INSERT and HYPE STICKERS ARE ALL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION! I WOULD HAVE USED "CURATOR'S GLOVES", YOU KNOW, IF I HAD A PAIR.
Good luck finding this gatefold cover that is still in the ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP with BOTH of the ORIGINAL HYPE STICKERS as most people would tear off the shrink to see the inside of the gatefold. This one is in EXCELLENT shape as it has been preserved in plastic lo these many years!
The gatefold cover is still in the original shrink wrap and is in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, ring wear, dings, etc... There are no split seams.
PLEASE NOTE: IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE FRONT COVER THE WORD "CLEAN!" IS INDENTED. IT'S AS IF SOMEONE PUT A PIECE OF PAPER ON THE COVER THEN WROTE THE WORD "CLEAN!" ON THE PAPER AND LEFT AN INDENTATION OF THE WORD "CLEAN!". (see photos - I included a dime to show the size)
There are a few small tears / splits in the skrink wrap typical with age.
The Hype Stickers are in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age. The "Stairway To Heaven" sticker is located on the front and the Track Listing Sticker is on the rear.
The original price sticker and a "SUPER SAVER" sticker are still affixed directly to the front of the shrink wrap. They may come off with some elbow grease, but I'm leaving them as-is.
The custom insert / inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, crumples, ring wear, dings, etc...There are no split seams, but there are a few crumples / creases typical with age.(please see pics)
I transferred the LP to a plain inner sleeve.
Up for sale is one (1) Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV LP from 1971 on Atlantic Records (#SD 19129). THIS IS THE 1977 REISSUE WITH THE EXPANED 5 NUMBER CATALOG NUMBER.
