You are bidding on an LP.  Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III, very good condition cover and very good vinyl (see notes below).  The item will be well packaged in a record mailer with 2 stiffeners (the vinyl removed and placed in a white paper sleeve to prevent seam splits) and sent immediately upon payment.  First Class postage in the UK, 'Standard International' to other destinations (see below).  I have tried to be as honest as I can about its condition but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

LISTEN BEFORE BIDDING

THERE ARE 3 RED PLUM LED ZEPPELIN LP'S ON AUCTION.  PLAYBACK SOUNDS BETTER THAN THERE (VISUAL) VINYL GRADING.
This is the original 1st press of Led Zeppelin's 'Led Zeppelin III' on the 'red plum' Atlantic label from 1970.  Comes in a laminated gatefold cover.  The cover is in very good condition with light creasing and scuffing.  There is some cellotape removal marks on the inside of the gatefold.  The cover has some light fraying to the edges and spine (the spine lettering is still fully readable).  The labels are still in very good condition, undamaged with spindle marking.  The vinyl is in very good condition, it looks very clean and bright with some light surface marks/scratches.  Playback is still very good with some light crackling and light clicking in places.  If you are intending to make a bid please play and listen to the audio of the album to judge for yourself.

"Do what thou wilt" and "So mote it be" in run-off grooves indicating a first pressing
"Produced by Jimmy Page" and "Executive Producer: Peter Grant" on the top side of the label (first pressings only)

Both sides have been played on a Rega RP1 turntable with an Ortofon OM5E cartridge (tracking weight: 1.5g - 2.0g) and listened to on a pair of high end Sennheiser headphones.

In general the vinyl is in very good condition.  It looks very bright and clean with a few light surface marks/scratches. Some light crackling/clicking.

I tend to be over critical of a records condition as it is not my intention to misrepresent what I am selling.  I want the buyer to feel what they have bought is as described although not everyones opinion of its condition will be the same as mine.

Notes
This is The 1st UK release with Red/Maroon label design.
Fully-laminated gatefold sleeve with working wheel, printed and made in England by E. J. Day.
Run of wax has “Do what thou wilt” & “So mote it be”, also hand etched on Side One and Two respectively.
Later pressings followed with different Red/Maroon label composition where Peter Grant credit was removed.
The Cat. Number towards the right of the label says 2401002, later labels say 2401-002.
The Credit at the bottom of the label states -"Warner Bros Music Ltd" later labels say "Warner Bros Music".
