Exceptionally rare Gary Numan Scarred limited edition vinyl box set Here is your chance to purchase what I believe is the most desirable and stunning Gary Numan collectable ever produced. Released throughout 2010 and culminating in February 2011 with the fantastic metal slipcase there are only 72 (yes only seventy-two!!!!) full sets with the slipcase produced worldwide. There are 9 different coloured vinyl albums included within the metal slipcase. The coloured vinyl used is: blue, burgundy, green, yellow, brown, orange, a stunning blue with black splats and an equally stunning black and white split plus clear. A total of 100 copies were pressed of each colour/style but only 72 full sets were issued. The other copies were sold as separate albums to those who didn't want the full set. All 9 albums fit inside the lovely coated steel handmade slipcase which has a engraved brass logo on the front side. Also included with the set is a colour leaflet which gives information about the set and is signed by a representative of the record label (OTB Records). This is a fully licensed set and is the first time that Gary Numan's Scarred album has been pressed on vinyl. The records shown in the photographs do not show the full colour outer sleeves. There are 3 different covers and 9 covers in total. The photographs here really don't do this stunning set justice. It would make the ultimate item within any Gary Numan collection.
The edition sold out even before the final slipcase was available..
This is the final set that I will be selling on eBay as I bought more than one set originally.
There will be a £9.00 postage and packaging cost payable on top of the final winning bid as this is a heavy and valuable item that needs to be insured.
A few things I would like to add to this description is that the records are in mint condition. I've never played them. The metal case, insert and covers are also perfect.
The metal case is very special weighing nearly a kilogramme without any records. The set will be mailed well protected and insured. Send me a message if you want a postage cost for outside of the UK.Yes there are only 72 of these full sets in the metal box worldwide!!!!!!!
