Description

Led Zeppelin II Bob Ludwig pressing vinyl record SD 8236 Rare. USA Atlantic pressing.  This is an early US pressing mastered at Sterling Sound (SS) on the deadwax by renowned engineer Bob Ludwig (RL) in the deadwax on side 1 and engineer Lee Hulko (LH) on side 2. If you are reading this then I'm going to take it that you know what this means as you searched for Bobs name on ebay but for noobs I'll explain a little more.

Ludwig has stated publicly that the famous 1st US pressing that got recalled by Atlantic which has RL on both sides is form the same stamper used for this version i.e. cut hot and loud. Its a fantastic sounding record. Please see that it has a couple of red ink marks on the outer sleeve. The Sleeve itself has a slight split on one corner and the inside seem, its over 50 years after all. The labels are clean and the vinyl has hairlines and some light marks. It doesn't skip at the start of side 1 (on any of my players), you can hear 3 clicks on a "Whole Lotta Love" and there is of course some surface noise which is to be expected. Original Inner sleeve.

As for my other auctions I am selling many of my 11 pressings of Pink Floyd's the Dark side of the moon, including an A3/B2, a UK Quad and an Australian coloured Quad, a UK blue prism 1st pressing and a superb sounding Japanese Pro Use series version. Please check them out.

Please note you have delivery options, please choose one which suits your insurance/compensation needs, if you cheap out I won't be able to make up the shortfall on any claim.
