Description
Led Zeppelin II – Atlantic 588198 - released 1969 - red/plum label - A5/B4 early pressing of this absolute monster of a classic rock album.
Side 1 Track 3 is named The Lemon Song on the cover, and Killing Floor on the label.
Zeppelin albums just HAVE to be heard on heavyweight vinyl, on a classic early pressing. The sheer power and drive of the band comes over on plastic like no other medium, and this is a nice copy.
Vinyl: still retains the deep sheen of these Atlantic early pressings. While there are quite a number of hairlines, there are no serious scratches. Playback reveals one skip, on Side 1 Track 2 (What Is And What Should Never Be) but apart from the odd pop and crackle in quieter passages, this is the only flaw. This is one LOUD album.
Labels: No fading, writing or significant spindle marks - excellent order.
Cover: VG++ - wear on spine, feathering on the edges and a name written on the front cover.
Postage and Packing: UK £3.50, Europe £6, Rest of World £10.
NB I will gladly combine postage if you are buying more than one LP - please ask for a revised invoice before you pay.
