Up for sale is one (1) Led Zeppelin - Houses Of The Holy LP from 1973 on Atlantic Records (#SD 7255).
First pressing with 1841 Broadway NY address on the labels. NO BARCODE.
Has STERLING RL stamped in the deadwax signaling a high quality pressing from Robert Ludwig (RL).
PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT STILL SOUNDS AWESOME! But, you will hear some surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition, but has visual surface marks that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.The garefold cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, crumples, scrapes, dings, fading & peeling, and ring wear all of which are typical. There are No Split Seams.
This cover typically doesn't age well because of all the moving parts, but this one is in Very Good shape.
Nice fairly clean labels with some spindle marks. There is some minor peeling on the Side 2 label as if a written name was erased.
The custom inner Lyric Sleeve is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, but not limited to corner dings, and ring wear. There is a medium sized Split Seam on 1 side. The LP is now in a plain white inner sleeve.
I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was gently played back in the day. It has not been played in many years.
