Description
This auction is for the uber rare and holy grail of Led Zeppelin albums.
Led Zeppelin 1 - original 1st press with:
- red/maroon labels
- turquoise sleeve lettering
- Superhype publishing credit
- A1/B1
- uncrossed 588171 matrix no
This is a superb example of this ultra rare album.
The sleeve is in excellent condition. The corners show little wear as does the opening edge. The base and top seams have virtually no wear apart from a 1cm dark mark mid way along the top seam.
On the back sleeve there is a little laminate lift coming from the spine edge for three quarters of its length.
Spine is solid and all text is in near perfect condition.
The sleeve lies flat.
The vinyl is in excellent condition. There is one small mark on track 1 of side 2 and track 3 of side 1 but apart from that there is just some very light hairline scratches.
Matrix nos are A1/B1 with uncrossed matrix no of 588171.
The labels are in excellent condition, just some light spindle marks on both sides.
Comes with its original inner sleeve (in very good condition).
