Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This 1969 First Pressing is a Promotional Copy that has never been played.
- It is a Double LP.
- These are all the original Mono recordings.
- The promo sticker is back upper right.
- The paper on board gatefold cover has 2 splits on the top seams, a stiff spine (with a 1" split) and shows storage wear. There is a corner bump.
- The liner notes are by Paul Oliver from his documentary book "The History Of The Blues" (1969).
- Check out the track listings for the background of the music and the artists who created it.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from the CBS rep in his store in 1969. It has been in storage for 48 years!
