Description

This is Blue Note Records BLP 4221, Larry Young Unity, a blue and white, New York USA, microgroove label, mono issue of this classic record with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The cover, with the 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address, has some ring wear but is excellent and intact. The labels show no spindle marks. An original thumbnail inner sleeve is included. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this beautiful early mono Blue Note. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondeck LP-12 in mono mode.
