Description
For sale is an ultra rare Jazz Christmas LP from WVXU, "Cincinnati Christmas Album," from 1985. A who's who of regional jazz artists and narrated by Ira Joe Fisher, a great looking and sounding piece of Cincy Jazz history. The vinyl is clean and sounds great, just a hint of very light visual wear, fully play tested. The jacket is quite nice overall, I've just graded down for check marks on the back near some song titles, but great front picture, good corners and solid spines all the way around. I don't see another copy of this for sale anywhere, a true rarity that doesn't go up for sale often. Also includes a really nice copy of an ultra rare Jazz Holiday LP featuring some serious players, "The WVXU Christmas Album Volume II," from Xavier University in 1986. The jacket is nice with a little shelf wear, easily at VG+ looking cover but I'm grading down for check marks in pen on the back near the song titles. The vinyl is clean and shiny, probably EX visually but I heard one light tick so I'm grading conservatively at VG+. Really a strong copy, I can't find another like this anywhere and some very collectible people form the backbone of this band, cool piece
