CATALOG#: MOD-LP 115This title is a rare find in any condition; but make no mistake, this one is in superb condition! We acquired this copy sealed but opened it to confirm the condition of the vinyl and label style. This deep groove pressing is absolutely pristine; not a scratch, scuff or spindle mark to be found; its original gloss still shines bright. A real beauty! The cover only has two small age stains on rear (see second scan). Still in shrinkwrap with four sharp corners, there are no other defects to be found.
A reasonable minimum bid and no reserve.
Recorded July 12, 1957. Lucy Ann Polk was a vocalist's vocalist, winning the Downbeat best female vocalist in 1952 and 1953. This small group date, recorded July 12, 1957, features Marty Paich arrangements and backup and is one of the finest vocal records ever recorded.
