eccolo...l'introvabile e il più raro 45 giri BEATLES pubblicato in Italia: PLEASE PLEASE ME / ASK ME WHY...distribuito solo in Italia nel mese di maggio del 1970 per la serie FLASH BACK ( è il n. 6 di una serie curata dalla EMI ITALIANA di 20 ristampe di dischi di vari cantanti e complessi musicali denominata per l'appunto "FlashBack")...numero di catalogo del 45 giri : EMI PARLOPHONE 3C006 04451 M... La grafica di questa stupenda copertina mostra il disegno di un occhio su sfondo giallo e la pupilla è una foto in bianco e nero dei Beatles nella loro ultima sessione fotografica (insieme) del 22 aosto del 1969 a Tittenhurst Park (foto di Ethan Russell). Di questo disco e relativa copertina furono stampate poche centinaia di copie e passò pressochè inosservato diventando ormai una rarità e il sogno di molti collezionisti e praticamente quasi impossibile trovarne una copia in buone condizioni, perciò ritengo che questo presentato in asta sia più che superlativo...eccellente!!! Disco proveniente da collezione privata... The graphics of this great cover shows a drawing of an eye on a yellow background and the pupil is a black and white photos of the Beatles at their last photo session (together) of 22 aosto 1969 in Tittenhurst Park (Photo byEthan Russell).
Of this record and its cover a few hundred copies were printed and passedalmost unnoticed now becoming a rarity and the dream of many collectors and nearly impossible to find a copy in good condition, so I think that a disk in this state is virtually unobtainable.
