This is a EX / EX copy of this very rare JAMAICAN LP on WIRL RECORDS, released in about 1967. It is a collection of SOUL sides from CHRIS BLAKWELL's stable of 'ISLAND RECORDS' artists. This release never made it out in the UK. I have dated by the inclusion of Jimmy Clff's 'PRIDE & PASSION' - forgive me if I'm out by a year.The artists are OWEN GRAY, JIMMY CLIFF, JACKIE EDWARDS, MILLIE SMALL & of course JACKIE & MILLIE. This is a great copy of this ultra-rare Jamaican LP from my own collection. The vinyl is in great condition and plays really well. The labels are perfect (this original Jamaican issue is on the silver & black WIRL label). The sleeve shows slight creasing near the spine and some light wear to the front sleeve, but nothing that detracts from the 'look' of the wonderful sleeve with it's great photos of the artists. The back is still white and this is such a great copy of an original 60's Jamaican pressing. There is no staining or 'damage' to the sleeve at all. RARE!
