Written in 1969, this mindmelting LP is one of the most sought-after and best records of the genre, performed by Michelini's orchestra with Edda Dell'Orso and Bruno Battisti D'Amario at the guitars. Sounds are strictly Space-inspired drawing from Classical structures to late '60s Pop orchestrations tinged of soft Progressive and Psichedelia. A still fresh jaw-dropping listening experience since its first release almost 50 years ago. Sci-Fi styled Score music featuring breathtaking Lounge cuts / bewitching Edda Dell'Orso chorus and vocals / Space Rock and other ethereal vibes / Killing spacey beats and Breaks / Moon Electronic effects with groovy drums allover. Comes with heavy cardboard sleeve, includes original RCA promotional innersleeve. This album is a pure masterpiece!

Our soundclip starts with the timeless beats of TYCHO, one of my personal faves: totally MINDMELTING grooves with catching Spacey vibes and effects allover. Impressive drum Breaks and chorus accompaniment. Follows "LA CONQUISTA DI LUNA" theme with initial countdown speaken voice recalling the shuttle leaving for the moon, then a long screaming organ solo leaves the way for a heavy spaced Downtempo groove with killing drum Breaks and bassline and moon Electronic effects. "IL VOLTO NASCOSTO DI LUNA" along with "IN VIAGGIO" feature incredible Scat vocals by Edda Dell'Orso on Jazzy Lounge rhythmics, just mindmelting. "ODISSEA NELLO SPAZIO" theme by J.Strauss comes here rearranged with the fine Michelini's orchestra touch. "VENTO SOLARE" is another mental shot, with hot Progressive and Space Rock beats and caotic Space effects. "A MSR. ARMSTRONG" amazing Score spatial theme, "IL CENTRO DI HOUSTON" is divine orchestral theme with Bossa & Lounge inspired sounds and heavy strings session. Other Experimental and Avantgarde spacey Score music on "METEORITI" and "LA RUOTA DEI PIANETI". Very rare and outstanding album, tough to find and not to be missed!
