1st US editions came in a gloss cover within gold embossed "BAD" text and no parental advisory warnings. Later versions like this have advisory sticker on shrinkwrap, or "Explicit Lyrics, Parental Advisory" warnings in cover art, with non-embossed "Bad" text.

Mastered at Masterdisk using the DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) process.
A4 on the label is called "The Bristol Hotel", while on the sleeve it's called "Bristol Hotel".

M= A near perfect, probably unplayed record (Usually use this for sealed records).
NM= Record appears new, At most, perhaps a light mark appears on the record. It should play without any noise or skips of any kind whatsoever.
EX= Record has some light surface marks. These marks do not affect play. Very nice copy
VG+= Record has noticeable marks, Light surface scratches and may play with some light noise, but doesn't overpower the music, Still very enjoyable.
VG= Record has noticeable marks and scratches, plays with noise
G= Lots of ware, Noise and scratches more audible than music.
