LEVON AND THE HAWKS were an early band which featured future members of THE BAND : LEVON HELM, RICK DANKO, ROBBIE ROBERTSON !!!
These tracks came out in 1965 on ATLANTIC RECORDS in the UK, but these sounds like a slightly different mix / version to me, but could be because they are cut on an ACETATE and not vinyl !!!
The track “HE DON’T LOVE YOU” was a big tune on the NORTHERN SOUL / MOD SCENE and was comped on many NORTHERN SOUL / MOD compilations !!!
This was a PUBLISHING DEMO ONLY ACETATE and came from the ESSEX MUSIC PUBLISHING library which I bought !!!

The ACETATE was cut by ESSEX MUSIC PUBLISHING.
The condition of the ACETATE is in EX+ / EX++ condition (PROBABLY UNPLAYED UNTIL NOW !!! GREAT CONDITION for this age acetate, light scuffs and marks only, plays great with only mild crackle as ACETATES tend to have) !!!
