Description

Please read my description carefully before bidding.  I will ship the item worldwide and will accept a free return if it doesn't match the listing description.

This one is the 1st stereo pressing in Japan of LEE MORGAN's "SONIC BOOM" by King Record in 1981, GXK-8171.  An un-issued version of Blue Note catalog originally recorded on April, 1967 by Rudy Van Gelder. The tape had been neglected and sit still in the Blue Note vault for a long time.  It was found almost 12 years later by Michael Cuscuna who was the producer of this album in Japan.

The vinyl looks bright and glossy. I've played test this record on my system and it plays NM on both sides. But it has a small sticker residual on the Side 1 label. So overall I've rated the disc as VG++

The cover and an OBI are both rated NM.  Cover is strong and no split.  The spine is intact.

The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied.
